Delete your Alissu account
You can delete your Alissu account and the data linked to it at any time, either in the app or by contacting us.
Delete in the app
- Open Alissu and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Data controls.
- Tap Delete account. If your account has a password, enter it to confirm.
You will be signed out on all your devices, and we will send a confirmation email if your account has an email address.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot open the app, email support@alissu.com from the email address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that you own the account, and we will complete your request within 30 days.
Guest accounts have no email address, so we cannot identify them from a request. Delete a guest account in the app as described above. Guest accounts that are not used for 180 days are deleted automatically.
What happens to your data
- For 30 days you can restore your account by signing in again.
- After 30 days, we permanently delete your account and everything linked to it: your profile, chats and debates, messages, uploaded files, saved prompts, AI profiles, settings and devices registered for notifications.
- If you belong to an organization, you are removed from it.
- If you signed in with Apple, we revoke Apple's access for Alissu.
- Copies may remain in backups for a limited time before they are overwritten, and we may keep limited records, such as security logs for up to 180 days or purchase records, where needed for security or required by law.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions to stop future charges. A subscription bought on our website is cancelled at the end of its current billing period.
Delete only some of your data
To keep your account but remove some data, go to Settings → Data controls and delete all your chats, prompts or AI profiles. You can also delete individual chats, prompts and AI profiles from their lists.
